How to Shut down your friend’s system over the LAN?


Here is a simple trick to shut down or restart computers over LAN.It will work only over the LAN.Prank your friends in schools and colleges:)You can also use this for maintenance works if your an IT admin.You can site remotely and control your systems on the network via this trick.I had a good time in my college with this trick.
First you must note down the IP address of the system which you want to shut down.You can find it out by typing IPCONFIG in Command Prompt.
1.Open Command prompt(win +r and type cmd)
2.Type
shutdown -i
3.It will bring about an interface.
4.You can add manually the computer you want to shutdown or browse and add them.Directory listing should be available.
5.click on browse button and add the computers you want to shutdown.
6.Set no. of seconds for the computer to shutdown.
7.You can also set message that will be displayed to your victim before his/her system shuts down.

Note: If this trick did not work for you the reason could that remote system has been configured not to accept this command.Or If you get an access denied error it means that this command has been blocked by your system admin.
